Welcome to Connor Creekmore's Page

How happy I was when we picked up Connor from daycare one afternoon, and he wanted to give us a tour of his room. Connor showed us the various projects he and his classmates had done and were displayed on the walls. They even have a computer to take turns working on. And then, there is the family tree on the wall. Connor’s family picture is above, the only family to be displaying two pictures. But that reflects how Connor’s Dad keeps his Mom forever a part of them.
Connor has a memory box full of pictures of he and his Mom, but those pictures stop when he was 16 months old. His Mom, Andrea, had an uneventful and healthy pregnancy, but when Connor was 3 months old, was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, Stage IV, at the age of 35.
Colon cancer among the young has been increasing, and yet the reason for the increase is not known. Connor is now 4 years old, and will be participating in the GYRIG Raleigh 2018 for the third consecutive year, along with his Dad, many of his relatives, and many of Andrea’s dear friends.
Money raised by this event goes towards education initiatives and expanding colon cancer screening. Colon cancer has a high survival rate, if diagnosed in the early stages.
Please consider joining our family in this event through either participation in the 5K Run/Walk or through a donation towards the event.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
